Generally you'll do a "9-5" type shift while doing classroom training and sims. Once you get out on the floor and assigned to a trainer, you'll follow their schedule. Once you get checked out on that position you'll usually build up some proficiency time. After a certain amount of time, you'll go back to the classroom and return to the "9-5" shift and start the process over again.
