Terminal Vs. En route

Which one do you prefer? Having done both, I prefer terminal. They have more rules to use to get your job done, and it appears they get more support from management than en-route does. I'm excluding NY from this because both the tracon and center are exempt from "rules" because they follow their own.....lol... That damn 5 mile range bubble is your main rule and they enforce it!
