Not really. If you have any aviation experience whatsoever, go ahead and put it down. Just make yourself look as good as possible so they can go ahead and ignore it later. I even went so far as to take a bunch of AOPA and FAASafety courses online, and eventually began taking flight lessons. Only the former made it onto my app, but the latter definitely won me some bonus points later when speaking with facility managers (and during the actual interview).
To put it another way, try to distinguish yourself in some way from the other OTS candidates. Your interviewer may come right out and ask you why you should be picked over them -- mine did -- so if you can make a good case now, who knows, may help you later.

Where can I purchase the "green book" at so I can start studying?

Amazon. There's a link through StuckMic somewhere that gives us a donation, or something. Look for Patrick Mattson, you'll know it when you see it. Also read the extra-helpful and compellingly well-written AT-SAT guide, which you can find through the AT-SAT Info link on the left sidebar.
