Sucks that you guys hate your jobs and by all means I hope you get selected. Makes things easy for you. On the other hand, I was laid off a couple of months ago and started a new job 4 weeks ago. I love the new job, pays great, great hours, great atmosphere, no stress, and I love the city I love in. So now what do I do if I'm selected? Leave a really good job that I enjoy, move my family to BFE, take a HUGE pay cut to go to OKC for school for 3 months, probably still a pay cut after I get out of school, and don't know that I'll like ATC anymore than what I'm doing now. Would have been a very easy decision had I not been laid off or had I not landed this position.
