One of my professor told me that, the way FAA hires is in waves. like 3 years ago when they hired.. they hired in a large mass..then they slowed down. but theres going to be another wave where they will do the same and hire another large mass of people, its basically a cycle.. so your just have to wait and anticipate when that wave is going to be.. the way things are it could be couple of years, if you have the CTI Cert most likely when that wave comes you will get it. my only regret of doing CTI is that i should have done it after i got a degree in another profession..
