A light jacket is sufficient most of the time. If you need to get something heavier, wait till you get to OKC and visit a thrift shop. You can usually find a decent used coat for under $10 to keep you warm the 5 or 6 times you really need the extra insulation. Then you are not paying $60 - $70 for a coat you won't use when you go where one isn't needed.
