Another thing to think about is how you are going to get around, if your going to fly to OKC you are going to depend on your new friends and the shuttle. Yes the FAA has a shuttle that will picky you up from your apartment complex and bring you to the academy. To be honest though having a car is really nice. Even just to be able to go to the grocery store or out and grab a bite to eat or a drink. Its up to you though, however if you chose to fly to OKC you have to call student services to get the number for American Express so they can book and pay for your flight.

Posted: 03-11-2009, 10:19 AM long term is more than 16 days. short term is obviously less than that. i don't think there's a class shorter than 16 days, so everyone that is an initial hire is long term.
