how about if your legally able to do simulatneous operations to taxiway charlie and the outside runway OR taxiway alpha and the inside runway. does anyone even know how far apart they are? reference table 3-8-1. of course i never said anything cuz i liked being able to use the taxiway with those annoying helos.

Yeah, we just discuss it amongst ourselves then when anyone comes up say "SHHHH".... and that's about it... Same thing with operations between the inside and outside runway... 1K between them... helos OK? WTF? where's that rule? and we did figure out the separation between the taxiways and runways.... it's not satisfying.

Lake Hood in Anchorage. I think they are the busiest in the world.

okay, i stand corrected. figure someone would find a sea-lane runway. needless to say only about .01% of all controllers will even see such a thing.

so there's a tower that controls Lake Hood and it's sea-lanes? that awesome. i always just figured WTF whenever i read the water runway chapter. i just assumed it was a waste of paper. lol.

I knew a guy in the navy who could quote the 7110 verbatim, I asked how he could do it and he told me that he just keeps it in the bathroom and reads it at least twice a day.
