Each thing has different limits. Medical I believe you have 60 days to return it or you decline it until open season.
Thanks, wasn't sure if they were gonna do it "Barney style" like this or expect us to take responsibility for ourselves.

if you want to look at the different plans available so you have an idea you can go to

opm.gov/insure and scroll down to the bottom and there are links to check out the different plans available

Thanks, looked at them a few months ago. Have to re-evaluate the plans now that decision time is coming up.

I'm not a health expert, but I'm slowly learning it through my temp job in a doctor's office.

Why is Oxford not on the OPM website (for New York)? There's a controller from ZNY who comes into the M.D. office where I work and he has Oxford, $15 copay...which isn't bad. Is it because he has something separate from what OPM offers?

He may either pay for insurance on his own or perhaps OPM now no longer offers the insurance to new employees. Only he would know.

Could be the SO's health plan.

You are refering to CAMI. I believe that stands for Civil Aeronautic Medical Institute. If you need to use them, your instructors can tell you all the details.

Civil Aeromedical Institute. They'll hook you up with meds or whatever you need. I haven't been there, but probably more than half my class has been there at some point.

All good points...

I'll have to ask him on his next visit to solve the mystery.
