New per Diem?

I have heard a rumor and I say that with emphasis, that there is an increase coming to the per diem at the academy in October. Any confirmation?

FY2010 starts in october, no?
would stand to reason the per diem would be adjusted then, I think it went up something like 30 cents a day last october-ish.

The GSA website shows OKC going from $83 to $84 daily for lodging, and from $49 to $66 daily for meals and incidentals in FY2010.

The $49.80 was only for lodging...so does that mean lodging allowance is going to $66.00?

The meals and incidentals were $30.60...I wonder if that amount went up as well.

The housing will be $50.40 a .60 cent increase I do not know what MAI will be changing to.

Let me guess, effective October 1 the rates at Kim's, Isola, Mansions, and the other providers are all going up to $50.40 a day. Maybe someone can throw in brown bag lunches ...

hahaha. Just like in the military, apt rates next to base were exactly what your Base Allowance for Housing was. Ironically, they went up every year with no remodels.

Do they just deposit the whole thing to you or is there some kind of receipt system? If I stayed with a friend would I just get to pocket the per Diem minus what I give to my friend?
