What exactly is an MWT?

The Aerospace Medicine division asked me to get a MWT done. I know it has something to do with sleep apnea, but that is all I know. Can someone shed some light on this? I just want to know what it is exactly and how it will effect my ATC chances. Any information that is provided is appreciated.
