Blood pressure meds
Posted: 03-05-2010, 11:54 AM i am on blood pressure medicine and have been on it for 3 years. Now all the sudden I have to get three checks on three different days. I was told by some people that this was not required any longer! Do you have any info on this subject

Posted: 03-06-2010, 05:13 PM You probably did not pass the cutoff on BP control. That value is an absolute 155/95. If your one point above it, you have failed your medical. When that happens, then the AME checks the BP on 3 different days. If the 3 readings are all below the limit, you pass. If not, you have to see your doctor and get it taken care of.
