Eye Question
Posted: 08-25-2009, 04:55 PM

I have floaters in one eye. My vision is corrected to 20/20. I also have swelling in that same eye due to "stress" that makes me see a spot below my enter of vision. like you can do with floaters ive learned to ignore the spot. it kind of gets dark when i blink but goes away after not blinking awhile. ive been to an eye doctor about it and he dilated pupil, looked in and i was told to take ibuprofen and check in. Spot is still there and i was wondering if that spot poses threat to my medical clearance if i can still pass vision test? ive done my physcial, psych and drug test and they say that the docs might want more info on the spot. Do you think they will even look into this? and do you need a waiver for floaters? or this spot?

Dont know what "spot" is. If retinal detachment, maybe otherwise floaters are usually not a problem.
