I took Ritalin as a child, and now need to get my medical certification.
Posted: 09-07-2009, 10:48 PM I took Ritalin as a child, but I have not take it in almost a decade (I am now twenty). I am not on any mind-altering drugs, nor have I been for many years, and I have no current medical issues. Will I have a hard time getting a 3rd, 2nd or 1st class medical certificate because of my Ritalin use as a child? If so, what would I need to do to get my certificate?

Posted: 09-09-2009, 09:44 AM It should be reported on your application, but I do not think it will be a problem for you if you are in good health.
