OCD with citalopram
Posted: 11-04-2009, 12:40 AM hi, sorry if this was asked already but i could not find it anywhere. i was diagnosed with ocd about three years ago and originally took lexapro. now im taking citalopram and am weening off of it. will i be cleared to be an ATC if i am taking the medication or do i need to be off of it for a documented specified amount of time? thanks.

Posted: 11-04-2009, 11:17 AM Any psychiatric diagnosis (including ocd) is dysqualifing. You would have to be off the meds for several months with no ocd symptoms before you can be cleared (if possible).
