Conjugated Linoleic Acid Supplement
Posted: 11-05-2009, 12:58 PM

I have been delayed from going to the academy because my blood pressure spikes when I first get into the doctors office, and now I have been prescribed a low dose of lotensin. In addition to eating better and starting to work out, I also want to take a supplement called Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) which is designed to aid in weight loss. I am considered very obese by BMI standards and I want to lose some weight to help with the blood pressure. CLA contains Tonalin and Chromium. Is this something I need to disclose to the FAA before I start taking it/something that is even approved by the FAA to take? Thanks for your help Doc.

It is always best to disclose all meds. You never know when it can come back and bite you.
