ATC Medical Exam/History
Posted: 12-10-2009, 03:37 PM I am planning on going into ATC next year and I would like to know more about the medical exam and history requirements. I am a private pilot with a current 3rd class medical. How different is an ATC medical from a 3rd class medical?
Also what kind of medical history investigation do they perform? Is it just a checklist on the paperwork or do they collect all past medical records? -Thanks |

Posted: 12-15-2009, 09:57 AM It it considered a 2nd class. The FAA is usually very through in its review. I do not know if they collect every single medical record from every doctor you have seen.
