Does being cross eyed and not haveing 20/20 vision cause problems for getting the ATC Medical.
Posted: 12-10-2009, 11:39 PM I found out during my 3rd class medical that I am cross eyed, and have 20/30 vision, or 30/20 Not sure which one it was.
Will that prevent me from getting my medical? |

Posted: 12-15-2009, 09:56 AM You would need to pass a 2nd class medical. The vision requirements are a little stricter like 20/20. With a third class medical, Vision can be 20/40 at worse. 20/30 is a little better than that.
