Inguinal Hernia

Would an inguinal hernia (about the size/shape of a ping pong ball cut in half) that rarely causes any discomfort and doesn't restrict me from playing basketball, lifting weights, physical activity, etc. be a disqualifying condition (unless surgically repaired)?
