Would I pass the physical?
Posted: 01-26-2010, 05:25 PM I was born with a congenital heart defect that was closed at the age of 9. It hasn't hampered me in any way and I was just given a waiver for it to join the US Navy since the problem doesn't require surgery these days (technology wasn't as good when I was a baby).
Would this disqualify me from becoming an Air Traffic Controller? I don't see how it would hamper me, especially if I've been in the Military, but I know heart surgeries are a big, red flag. I read the medical requirements, and it only mentions heart disease--which I don't have? What do you think? |
