Article 32 section 4
Posted: 12-07-2011, 05:26 AM

What is managements requirement prior to changing the posted watch schedule outside of 7 days? I read it to say that qualified volunteers need to be solicited outside seven days and inside seven days they need to do anything they can to avoid the change. Management is saying outside seven days they can change my shifts all they want within the scope of assignable shifts without any solicitation.

Your thoughts? Thanks!

Please direct this question to your NATCA facility representative. If you need help reaching them, please let me know. dchurch@natcadc.org

I specifically asked the forum for opinions outside the scope of my facility. I know the opinion of both my facrep and my facility management.

I guess i will re-word the question.

Can I get thoughts and opinions of other union members in this forum on the interpretation of article 32 section 4.

Maybe I posted in the wrong section?

I would suggest you post your question in the "General Messages" section of the NATCA BBS. Do you have a password to access the BBS? You are guaranteed to get lots of input there from your fellow members.

Or the Union Issues forum. Ask NATCA is for questions to NATCA staff only, not the union as a whole.
