Doug,

Might be in the wrong spot, forgive me!

I know the Red Book (Article 42, Section 13) says 6 months if practical, then it goes to whatever date they give you...

But I've heard several people keep saying that they are suppose to release you within 90 days? Is the 90 day release from a previous contract (white book, maybe even green book?)

I believe the 90 days refers to promotions and not lateral moves. If you bid on a supe job then they have to release you, same with TMU, I think. If you bid on another facility then I don't think they have to release you within 90 days, probably going to be more like 90 years.

Haha, no doubt. A few controllers here are convinced that it is any promotion (lower facility to higher) not positional wise.

As for release date, right now it's 10 months. And from what I understand, I'm the earliest release he got. The other 4 are slated for 2013. Guess I should count my blessings!
