Transfer to different facility during probationary year?

A good friend of mine recently got to his facility and is worried about not being able to successfully complete the training process. Is it possible to request a transfer to another facility during the probationary year? What steps would he want to take into requesting to transfer (any way to cover his own a$$?) Thanks a bunch! |

Posted: 07-27-2012, 08:59 PM Step 1. Talk to NATCA
Step 2. File an ERR and talk to facilities that he might be interested in. (lower levels only) It can be done. If the guy is well like and generally a hard worker and knows he is just in over his head then its totally doable. If the guy is a bum and doesn't have a good rep, then he probably won't get much help since he doesn't have a year . |
