Terminal Vs. En route

for all you tracon guys and gals, how do you like being in a tracon environment?

Not all centers are located in the the same city as the center name. For example. Boston center is located in Nashua, NH and Atlanta center is located south of Atlanta in Hampton, GA.
From the centers I have visited, all controllers are in the same building.

Great info. I heard that terminal might offer a bit better schedule, i.e. more desirable days off (Fri & Sat; Sun & Mon) as opposed to en route. Maybe b/c there is so many more people at a center and it takes longer to get seniority?

As a new hire, can one expect to get any weekends off? Or is that out of the question?

what about n90 in ny? i kinda want to go there but people have been telling me they are a bunch of badasses and you really got to have some balls to even want to work there...expecially if you are a chick like me....any info guys???

anybody know anything about indy center or terminal? i'd like to stay here if possible but otherwise i want to go out west....
