Tks.
Not all centers are located in the the same city as the center name. For example. Boston center is located in Nashua, NH and Atlanta center is located south of Atlanta in Hampton, GA.
From the centers I have visited, all controllers are in the same building.

Great info. I heard that terminal might offer a bit better schedule, i.e. more desirable days off (Fri & Sat; Sun & Mon) as opposed to en route. Maybe b/c there is so many more people at a center and it takes longer to get seniority?

As a new hire, can one expect to get any weekends off? Or is that out of the question?

that would be nice!!!! in a center, are you typically paired up with one particular trainer? or would there be a number of different ones due to the amount of people in training?

You'll generally be paired with one person. My friend trains at a center, and it seems that when he gets a new trainee he has them for quite awhile. Although it may just be through certain stages of checking out, then you move on to someone elses area.

Trainers can(and will) request new trainees. I've heard more than one story about a trainee being passed around because no one wants to deal with that particular person. So if you get a good trainer be on your best behavior!
