Mid-shifts

I hate mid-shifts...I wanna die...someone put a bullet in my head.

What do you do to keep yourself entertained?

play with all the stars maps and randomly terminate targets that are not my control so they make the approach guys mad.

To keep myself entertained I usually don't play music, don't watch movies, don't surf the internet on my invisible laptop, and I really don't make phone calls.

One thing that I am going to miss about the AF is what I did on the mid that I just finished. bs for about an hour, watch a movie and a UFC fight and then slept for 3 hours.

mid shifts are usually what hours? in my office a mid shift is usually 1100 hrs-2000 hrs or like 1200 hrs-2100 hrs

so you either sleep, or... do what every good controller does(all of us) and scans the empty runways for 8 hours.

I would never watch a movie on the tv and dvd player thats not in the twr. nor would I even think about surfing the net or perhaps sleeping for a couple hours. Instead I read pubs and continue to scan the airspace and rwys.
