This is the runway at the airport in Gibraltar. Thankfully for motorists, just a handful of flights a day.

I worked at a tower in Japan and the perimeter road to get from one side of the base to the other went over the approach and departure end overruns... we had traffic lights that we had to activate when planes landed and took off. Needless to say many people hated us there. we'd have a line a mile long when the wing was flying heavy. If you were good you can get 5-10 cars thru between touch and go's haha.

If you can't handle the stress of ATC, there's always TC lol.
