The original hiring plan?
Posted: 12-14-2009, 03:36 PM I was digging through the FAA employees website and found a hiring plan similar to the one now but was published in March 2007.

Re: The original hiring plan?
Posted: 12-14-2009, 09:34 PM I get out at 1:45 bc I'm on the work program, but even when I'm in school I don't do to much lol. Today for example, I went to first period, then me, my friend, and ag teacher went to pick up 1600' of pipe and after the school paid for my lunch we conveniently arrived back at 1:40

Re: The original hiring plan?
Posted: 12-15-2009, 09:21 AM The FAA updates the 10 year hiring plan at least once a year to include who was hired and any revised hiring projections through the rest of the time period. They also figure in actual retirements, transfers, etc. and compare those to their estimates and make adjustments to those figures as well. Overall, they all look about the same.

Re: The original hiring plan?
Posted: 12-15-2009, 11:46 AM That makes sense. When did the hiring plan actually start? The one I found is for 2007-2016 and the most recent one is 2009-2018.

Re: The original hiring plan?
Posted: 12-15-2009, 01:11 PM That's the government for you. When do you think they will realistically stop hiring and be done with "The plan"?
