Raytheon cut by 30%
Posted: 01-05-2010, 08:55 PM Well, Raytheon has just cut back by 30%. All employees will be working 28 hour work weeks starting immediately. The only ones exempt from this are a select few centers. For those of you in training who thought you were going at a slow pace before... It's going to be worse now. A full day and a half less training and simulators per week.
Sounds to me like they are trying to send the FAA a message, at the expense of their employees. |

Re: Raytheon cut by 30%
Posted: 01-06-2010, 08:56 AM Remember the FAA has 2152 staff specialists that are capable of providing classroom and simulation as well. Most ARTCCs are allocated at least 1 Training Manager and up to 12 staff specialists divided up between QA, Training, A&P, and Programs
