I just found out I was selected for Chicago tracon and was wondering if anyone wanted to trade for an IL tower position.

lol...yeah i know....this is driving me nuts, im checking my email like a crack fiend every 20 mins, especially with this "supposed" initial contact email these other people on the ########## forums "say" they got....come to think about it, i dont remember the email i received looking like the one they said they got....

did u apply VRA or pubnat? what is the initial contact email? My two choices were MDW and ORD and i am yet to hear anything from the faa.

I'm heading to ORD from a VRA hire. I'm pretty sure that the guy I talked to at ORD said that they only want VRA's or transfers and have requested not to be sent CTI's or OTS'. You'd have to talk to the hub manager to be sure. And I'm pretty sure the reason that they are allowing VRAs is because some ex-AF guy got checked out in 13 months or so.

okay am i the only one who is noticing a pattern of people who dont post a lot or just signed up saying they got notifications????

call it plain old new york paranoia but i thinks something stinks in the big apple....and everywhere else for that matter.....

ORD is getting CTI and OTS hires right now.
