Wow what a scare. I was going to say there are 700 people still waiting with TOLs for the Eastern Region. This includes VRA, RMA, CTI, and OTS.

If you just put one location on your application then the FAA is going to decide a second location for you based on their needs. They will first refer your name to your choice of location and if your not picked up there they refer you to other locations throughout the US. I've been through this before I'm REINST and RMC.

Hmmm, so are you saying that listing no selection for 2nd state is like the hoped-for "Throughout the nation" option? I'd like to see how that works out, because I don't see people getting selected for random referall lists for states they didn't select, and from what I see it appears that they have way more applicants for the states than they need, so I don't know why they'd be so needy to go throwing you into all other states if you didn't pick them. Anyone have any more insight?

Still VA and PA on the CTI list

But a new message popped up saying if you want to be selected you must go to a local tower and get kicked in the nuts by all the controllers. I got the ice ready!

If you guys check out this link (Air Traffic Control Specialist Position Openings) It shows that CTI graduates are the only applicants they are currently accepting applications for..

Now I'm not sure if that means that the non-CTI applicants on the referral list are not being considered, or if they are not accepting any new applicants, or what.. technicalities!

I think it means the only job available to apply for at this time is the CTI opening on the faa jobs page.
