Selected October 2010, who is waiting for FOL?

I'M pretty sure the majority of the people from this panel do not have FOL's yet! I'm VRA selected for crq, I wold told I should expect a fol "after october!" hhaha Useless info.

Selected Oct. '10, OTS, SHV. AQ from HR said that I should hear something by August, but to expect an academy date no earlier than FY'12 (October.)

VRA selected Oct 2010 for BGM (Binghamton, NY). Tentative class date of Aug 8th 2011. Talked to HR Rep yesterday. Said she was working on FOL's and to expect it on Friday or Monday.

Also had to retake urinalysis. They expire every 6 months.

I'm waiting on FOL I'm headed to ZLA and I'm En-Route. I'm OTS and my HR representative told me my seat is reserved for the 21st of July. He said I should be recieving my FOL at the end of June. arty:

I was selected in the October 2010 panels, OTS , have my FOL and my class starts 6-23-11. I think I ended up getting in one of the last classes for this FY or possibly in a cancellation spot. I was originally told to expect a class date in either late July or early October. I kept bugging them, calling every couple of days and reminding them that I needed only 2 days notice. At the beginning of May I got my FOL and was told my class was now at the end of June.

This is not true. My class is in 2 weeks, my drug test had not expired and I was not required to retake it.

I received a phone call from my rep today. I was orignally scheduled for the Aug 3rd enroute basics class. She asked me if I would take a June 23rd date because a couple of people in that class have issues with security clearances or something like that. I couldn't do it because I have a baby due right after that. Thought a few of you enroute guys might be interested to know that. Anyone else get a phone call to take an earlier date?

Heh. My baby's due date was two or three days before I needed to leave for OKC. We decided we'd just roll the dice instead of waiting any longer. Got lucky and he came two weeks early.

Spicy food, herbal teas, bungee jumping... whatever it'll take, man. Pop that kid out and bring him on down to Oklahoma. He'll be crying with an accent before you know it.

I wish I had the same amount of luck with HR as you guys have. I can't get any emails or calls back. I got my TOL on 5/10/11 and am just waiting on my FOL and class date.

What facility are you waiting for? I think that people going to a facility that has a more dire need for people are having better luck contacting their rep.
