When you fill out your application do you get to choose if you prefer enroute, terminal, tracon etc?

it is either terminal or enroute for ots but im not sure if the cti is the samew application

you list if you want terminal or en route on your geo preferance.

Alright thanks guys. I know what terminal means I was just unsure of how specific they get when you choose. Haven't been through it yet! But that's very insightful thanks everyone.

As far as I know, CTI's have not been changed to allow us to choose. We only get the chance to pick 5 states we wanna work in. CTI's do not get the choice of terminal vs. enroute. There is another thread where this is being discussed, and no one has any idea as to why we cant...
