En Route vs. Terminal? Security Clearance Level?
Posted: 11-24-2008, 02:40 PM Regarding EnRoute vs. Terminal what are the security clearance levels? I was told that Jacksonville Center being an En Route Facility has a higher security clearance requirement of "Secret" the a tracon or a terminal facility. Does this mean that say a terminal facility such as Norfolk is simply "Confidential?"

Posted: 11-24-2008, 04:06 PM NO. secret for all facilities. even contract tower controllers hold secret clearances. it's all the same sensitive material that all controllers know. or should know.
