re: En Route vs Tower Pay
Posted: 12-30-2008, 01:50 AM there is no difference in pay between enroute and tower. the only difference in pay is the level of the facility and the locality of the area the facility is at.
ie. level 11 tower in oakland pays the exact same as a level 11 center in oakland (theoretical cuz OAK is not an 11) the reason people think enroute facilities make more is because centers are level 10 and higher (with some exceptions) and towers could be as low as a level 4. |

Posted: 12-30-2008, 02:15 AM on the left you'll see "Facilities & Pay". click that.
ABQ Tower is a level 9. fully certified your pay WITHOUT locality is $65,500. add the 13.18% for locality and your pay goes up to $74,133. that is the LEAST you will make as a fully certified controller at ABQ. it goes up once you start adding night pay, sunday pay, holiday pay, overtime, etc. |
