Ease of Transfering Facilities
Posted: 02-08-2009, 12:58 AM Question for you experts out there. What is the process if you wanted to transfer from a center position to a terminal position? i.e. ZOB to CMH? How many years must you have in. I recently got hired into Cleveland Center but live in Columbus. The 2 hour drive will be killer but I understand the pay difference. Is this a painful process?

Re: Ease of Transfering Facilities
Posted: 02-08-2009, 01:34 AM painful and damn near impossible. plan on 5+ years as a MINIMUM. there are avenues that are possible, but will take some luck.
ERR and hardship transfers are your most likely avenues. |

Re: Ease of Transfering Facilities
Posted: 02-08-2009, 02:14 AM How easy is it to ERR. I only have a TOL right now. I should be back from Iraq around Christmas 2009, so I have some time. What steps should I take to try and swap? Thanks for your help! Also, how can I find ATM contact information?
