E-Qip Help (traditional route)
Posted: 03-12-2009, 10:36 PM I am having trouble logging in. I get a "login failed" message. I have tried calling my HR rep and emailing several times for help but still have not heard anything. Did anyone else have problems logging in initially?

Re: E-Qip Help (traditional route)
Posted: 03-12-2009, 11:00 PM I am having the EXACT SAME problem. Really freakin' irritating, especially at this hour! Have you held a security clearance before? I still have one that I got back in '03 and I was wondering if I'm already registered but just entering the wrong answers. I have no clue.

Re: E-Qip Help (traditional route)
Posted: 03-12-2009, 11:14 PM No, I've never had a security clearance. I started emailing and calling 5 days ago and pushing 10 days over the weekend. I am just going to get everything else back in and keep trying till I get the correct log in.
Very frustrating!! |

Re: E-Qip Help (traditional route)
Posted: 03-13-2009, 02:14 AM i filled out the eqip questionaire out about 8 months ago for another security clearance and when i tried to login in this time i had a similar problem and called the help desk number that was given on the last page of my TOL paperwork, 1 (888) 584-8334. the lady on the other end fixed the problem in minutes.

Re: E-Qip Help (traditional route)
Posted: 03-13-2009, 02:38 AM very interesting. I hope Security gets it back up and running soon for you! I guess I was one of the lucky ones, had mine submitted on the 10th.
I don't know if you have the same rep as I do but she picked up the phone for me once or twice when I had some brief questions.. they're all running around like crazy trying to get everything taken care of. Don't get too worked up guys I'm sure they're also aware of it and working hard to get you back online. In the meantime if you need help compiling any information ahead of time to make the actual box-by-box data entry easier feel free to PM me and I can give you a general list of requested info from the e-quip to help you get it all ready to fill out. |

(1) From the toolbar select Tools, (2) Internet Options, (3) Click the Advanced Button, (4) Scroll down to the Security Section of the list; (5) The fourth entry from the bottom is TLS 1.0. This box must be checked, if it is not already checked; (6) Click Apply, (7) Click OK. You will now be able to access e-QIP. |
