I have the names of a few facility managers and I would like to send them an email, but the addresses are not given. I imagine that I could guess their email if I knew the format.

Do they use one of the typical formats? Such as, smithj@faa.gov, jsmith@faa.gov, or johnsmith@faa.gov... I'm sure there are many duplicates throughout the entire FAA so I figure it could very well consist of some numbers.

Better yet, if anyone already on the "inside" could provide me with some contact information from the FAA directory, it would be more than appreciated! Just send me a private message if you're willing.

my dads is first.last@faa.gov and ive seen many others that way too

first.last@faa.gov is right. if the name is common like joe f smith then it would be
first.(mi).last@faa.gov.

yup...first.last@faa.gov

although mine is first.middleinitial.last@faa.gov
i don't know why mine has my middle initial in it....

You can get to the FAA Employee's web site where there is an employee locator in the right column. This will give you FAA email, phone numbers, and quite often addresses. Find it at:

MyFAA: Home

When you find the name you think is the correct one, just click on the last name to get information.

Just remember to use discretion. I've been in touch with a few in management by email myself, but I worry that if they get bombed too heavily, they'll start ignoring them. Know what I mean?

Thanks for the link! However, it provided the same information I had found through another avenue and also both did not provide email addresses for the people I am hoping to contact. I imagine some might request that their email addresses be made public.



Completely agree with you on that. The reason I am seeking email addresses is because I had spoken with a controller a month or so ago and he gave me the direct number to contact the facility manager. However, the manager was going to be out for a while for health reasons so I figured I would send him an email explaining my situation in further detail after I left a message on his voicemail.
