Posted: 07-01-2009, 08:40 PM One of my friends works at a center and he was telling me that as long as you have the slightest chance of making it, you keep showing progression and you're a good employee (management likes you) they will keep you on and give you TTH increases forever. He was saying that there are people there who took over 6 years to get fully checked out when it should take roughly three years.

VRA doesn't mean anything. One person has transfered from my facility as a controller when they couldn't get qualified here. We have three more currently training who can't either. The only reason they aren't chipping paint on the USS Never Dock is because management doesn't want to hurt their feelings and jeopardize their chances of making rank. So VRA only truly means they can read a book and take a test not that they can apply their knowledge.
