Currently living here been here since Sept 8 and leave on the Dec 3. GREAT place to be save some money and live in a much nicer place than the getto efficancy a lot of the places are. about 10min to work and close to every thing. KIM is awsome and cooks most nights and the fridge is always stocked. I'm married and don't like to party so I spend most of my time at the house and I have completely enjoyed my stay I will be coming back for my RTF. Any other questions feel free to PM me. Don't be stupid and stay in a crappy efficency stay in a great house and have your food provided! I believe she is also providing a visa gift card to spend on incidentals. Its not a small amount either, however it does depend on how long you stay. But heck nobody else is going to pay you to stay there. She only has three rooms so call her as soon as possible to try and get in.

"Kim's Place" is an excellenct choice if you are spending any length of time as a student at the FAA Academy. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood 10 minutes from the Monroney Center. Here you have full access to the entire house ( including the kitchen, backyard patio, BBQ, Pool in the warmer months, laundry, parking). The fridge is always fully stocked and Kims cooking is phenominal. The atmosphere is very inviting and laid back. If you are the partying type or the proverbial homebody, you will fit right in here.
I have talked to a number of people in my class about their accomodations and all have negative opinions. The most common complaints I hear are about the noise levels in the complex, the lack of hot water or water pressure, or the inadequate size of the kitchens/refridgerators. Some have even said they have heard fighting and gunshots in their nieghborhoods at night. I can't attest to the truth behind that but I CAN SAY you WILL NOT experience anything like that here.
I can go on and on about why I think this is the best option for a place to stay. I encourage you to look around because you won't find an opportunity like this anywhere else.

"Kim's Place" is a great place to stay. The reason for the 4's are just because it has to be the right place for you. It was the perfect place for me and I plan on staying there again if I ever go back to OKC. It is a VERY easy drive to the academy. The house is always clean and Kim cooks and really caters to the kinds of food you like. There is always something going on that if you want you can be a part of or have time/quietness to study. I enjoy people being around and the time spent around the house was always positive. Kim really makes sure her house is the right fit for you before she allows you to live there and she is flexible to make you feel comfortable. It was nice moving in with someone who already had gone through the process of starting. The other student really helped me during my first weeks. The drive is about 20 minutes from town, which is very little for OKC (talk about spread out)! But out of my class of 18... I had by far the best place for the best price!!

I stayed at Kim's Place a few months ago and I can say that she is a wonderful host and I had an excellent stay. I would highly recommend her home to anyone of my friends looking for somewhere to stay while at the academy. It was quite a bit cheaper when I stayed there but I guess expenses are going up and I read something about a gift card being offered so I'm sure it's still a good deal. I felt very fortunate that I got to spend my stay with Kim in OKC and I'm sure you will as well!

I've been here for almost 3 weeks now and this place is next to heaven. Kim and John are the best, fun people, easy to get along with and will go above and beyond for you! The house is great, the room is perfect, the food is delicious, John is a first class chef, anything your little mind can think of, he will make! Kim is the sweetest person, she truely is the "house mom" and will take care of your every need. I recommend as soon as you find out you will be coming to OKC for any period of time, you call and see if you can book a spot, you will not be disappointed!

I've been here for a little over 2 weeks now, and I have to say that I definitely love living here! I feel extremely lucky that Kim was able to find room to fit me in. Kim and John are super awesome: they are fun to hang with, they will show you the sweet spots around town, and their cooking/baking is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Yum yum. (So glad a gym membership is included as well...work off all that delicious food! lol) I'm actually staying at the 2nd house, but we're always welcome at the first house anytime. It's also great having roommates...there's usually always someone around to chill with and we all get along well. I really can't find anything negative to say about Kim's. Love it!

I originally stumbled on Kim's Place through a Google Search after I looked through some of the "FAA Approved" options. I saw a well kept house and a bunch of pictures of people having fun. I read what previous tenants said in their reviews and I was hooked. Kim's Place was the right choice for me.

Kim and I kept in touch on and off until I left Chicago and drove down to OKC. I checked in with her periodically - and she checked in with me. It wasn't a simple, "Where are you?" - she always asked how I was doing and I believe she was sincere (after meeting her and living at one of the houses - I have no doubt of her sincerity). I got a late start and arrived in OKC a bit behind schedule. Regardless, Kim and John were waiting up for me with smiles.

Enough "gooing" for a minute and let us get down to business. I am staying at the #2 House. The location is 7-10 mins from the MMAC. The house itself is clean and well kept, the fridge/cabinets have food (and not just a couple hot pockets and a pack of hot dogs). I can either make a sandwich or snack - or a dinner with what I have in the house. Kim provides basic bathroom essentials (TP, towels, Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner), laundry needs (Soap and Dryer Sheets) and everything else listed on her website. What she says is what you get - there are no "half truths".

I have been here a little over a week and enjoy everything about the experience. Kim's Place doesn't just offer a place to crash and study, it is a full experience. This is the first time I have been away from my son who is 19 months. There are other roomies who are going through the same thing - kind of a support group of sorts.

Everyone staying at the house(s) has a common bond - we are all FAA Students. I would recommend Kim's Place for anyone coming down to train at the MMAC.

I can't say enough great things about the house, the people and the experience. This is the place for me!

From the moment you walk in the door you feel at ease and at home. It is very hard not to click with Kim and John instantly. It was really nice after leaving a family in Chicago to have people to talk to right away as opposed to sitting in an empty apartment by myself. All of the other housemates are great too. Nearly everyone here is at a different point in their training which gives you an opportunity to pick their minds on what to expect as you advance through your training. There is always plenty of time to study in a quiet environment but also plenty of fun things to do. When they say the kitchen is stocked they mean it. Trust me, you won't go hungry here. There is no better option in Oklahoma for housing than Kim's Place.
