I stayed in Sandee's house from Jan - May '09 for my enroute training while in OKC.

I had never used craig's list or stuckmic to find a place to stay before, but I'm glad I did. This place is GREAT and had everything I needed. Pots, pans, silverware, dishes, tv, wireless internet.... I brought my own tv and my Xbox for my bedroom, which had cable too. Was able to use the wireless internet signal for Xbox live, which was nice.
The house was quiet, and really felt like a home away from home. Took me between 10-15 min to get to work. After seeing where my classmates were staying and finding out what they were paying ( $50 per day @ Fairways at Moore, $47 per day @ Spanish Gardens, $54 per day @ Links at Mustang), it was a no brainer for me. Glad I did. Saved me a truck-load of money in the long run.

The places my class-mates were staying were pretty Ghetto. The places looked old, like 70's style. One friend had his GPS stolen out of his truck. I wouldn't have felt comfortable staying there.

I am currently staying at Sanee's house, i think that it is the best place that you can stay at in OKC. It has been an absolutely fantastic experience so far. In my opinion it is 100% better than any of the short term apartment complexes that you will find. everything is very well kept, and not pulled straight out of the 70's just as the previous review said.

She originally described it to me as ?half the price and twice as nice.? That is an understatement to say the least. It is much less expensive than any of the apartment complexes, so you will save a ridiculous amount of money while you are here and will have a much nicer, and quieter place to study. The house is in a nice residential neighborhood, unlike many of the places my classmates are staying. No police sirens at night, no creepy people hanging around.

The drive is about 15 mins to the academy, which is about as short a drive as you are going to find anywhere in town. The drive is down a 2 lane road not affected by rush hour traffic. There are only 3 stop lights on drive and the total time doesn't vary by more than about 2 minutes day to day. I found that to be one of the very nice things about it because the FAA is extremely anal about being late and it gives me one less thing to worry about.

You will be only a few miles from all your shopping and eating needs. There is a Target, Walmart supercenter, Homeland grocery store, and a ton of restaurants a short drive away.

Sandee is quite possibly the nicest lady I have ever met and willing to help you out in any way she can. The FAA housing list does not have all the housing choices available, and definately not the nicest choices. You will have enough to think about while you are here, you don?t want to worry about your safety or your belongings safety while you are here. Please don't book your housing in Oklahoma City without at least contacting her to find out more about the housing she has to offer. I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

I stayed at Sandee's place for June and July of 2010. It was great. I had a wonderful experience. The house was very comfortable at a great price. I was able to pocket most of my per diem because of the low cost. Sandee was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I will have to go back next summer and I hope that I will get to stay here again. I would recommend this place for anyone who doesn't care for apartment style living and wants the comfort of a nice home at a low cost.

I found this to be an excellent place to stay for my stay during the academy. The owners were very friendly and helpful for any needs that you had. I visited several other places students were living and I found this to be the biggest, cleanest, and felt most like home. It was an 18 min drive to class, which is the about the same or even faster than Isola Bella due to traffic and stop lights. Also for the price, this is a hard place to beat.

This house rocks!! The house is large and has everything you need. The kitchen is fully furnished the flatscreen TVs in the bedrooms are all virtually brand new. The WIFI works and I play on XBOX Live no problem. Most of the channels on the cable come in HD The beds are comfortable and the house is very quiet. It makes studying very easy. The owners are very helpful and very accessable if you need anything. They do whatever they can to make it feel like home. You definitely get way more than you pay for!
