This rating is carried over from the previous rating system. Our archived reviews can be found here: Isola Bella Apartments - Housing Review Archives

StuckMic previously had a method of rating the providers on 6 pieces of criteria which included:

    • Customer Service
    • Price
    • Location
    • Noise
    • Cleanliness
    • Amenities

To transfer over the previous ratings to the new system, which allows the user to rate the facility based on a 5 star rating system used by hotels, restaurants and other large establishments, we first added up the ratings for each provider under the old system and then divided that by 6. (This is basic math averaging.) We then took that number and rounded it to the nearest .5 and that became the single digit number we used to start the new rating system.

Example: An Average rating of 4.5 would be rounded up to "5". An average rating of 4.4 would be rounded to "4".

The archived reviews display the previous ratings as well as the average rating based on the previous entries. The archived reviews are very relevant to the providers listed and were the primary source of rating for almost 5 years.

I am finishing up a month-long stay here at Isola Bella. It has been a great place to call home for the past month. The $5 a day car rental is hard to beat. I had a single bedroom apartment. It's not bad. It is definitely a place you can live for a while. I feel safe and secure here. The only reason why I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the food. It isnt the best, but it is included. Isola Bella is definitely a place to stay

Stayed here from May to July in 2014, I have no complaints really about the place. The internet could have been better (was down for about 4-5 days, which kept me from face timing with my son back home) but other than that, my stay was great. The food is ok, nothing amazing but i didn't have to do dishes and for night classes i never had to worry about packing a lunch. The tennis courts and basketball courts were are nice feature. I brought my dog with me to OKC (70lbs), and there was plenty of space to walk him and get him exercise. There is a school close by with a large playground area (it was summer so school was out) that I took him to a good bit and its very close to the Lake Hefner Dog Park, which was free and very nice. When I go back out to OKC I will stay at Isola Bella again.

After being recommended Isola Bella from almost everyone I knew who stayed there, I'm glad I did. I stayed there for 2 months in the summer. The rooms come furnished with everything that you would need and they were very clean and comfortable. The entire staff, especially the concierge and pavilion staff, are very friendly and helpful. They made me feel at home. The breakfast was good but the dinners were better than I expected. It had a nice variety and not having to worry about cooking/ordering was a definite plus. When you're on night classes, you get a supper-to-go box which was great because the cafe at the academy closes at 1PM. I loved the free 2-hr courtesy cars and the $10/day rentals (which I only used on the weekends) couldn't be beat. If the bus to the academy was every late (which was only one time), the concierge called the academy for us before we even asked. I met a lot of people from both other tower classes and enroute that I became friends with and hung out with. Getting a study group together was easy since the majority of my class was at Isola Bella, especially with the pavilion being the central gathering spot. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to the academy. If I ever have to go back, I'll stay here again.

    Terrible - 1 Stars
Isola is the most trashy establishment I've ever lived in. They claim to have updated units, but even the deluxe units feel old and outdated. The service here is horrible, but all the receptionist and concierge act surprised, like they've never heard a complaint about IB in their lives when you mention how you are disappointed with your stay, which is funny because every person in my class complains about how terrible ib is. Some of the employees try to make small adjustments to make your stay better, but overall, there's no way to make something so horrible be great. This place is a joke, overall, and I would suggest kims place over ib any day.
