Dallas/Fort Worth TRACON or ATCT or Fort Worth ARTCC insight?

Hey guys. So my two top choices for geo prefs are gonna be Minneapolis and Dallas/Fort Worth areas. I've already posted a thread for the first one, but does anyone know anything about the towers/tracon/center in this area? Any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

welcome to the site. theres a lot of facility specific stuff on here. click on "forums" and then click on "atc facility information." check out whats already been said about these places youre interested in.

How dare you! "iwantacooljoblikeyouguys" is a very noble name of punjabi origins! I am named after my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather who drew out plans in the middle ages for the first aircraft that were later discovered by the wright brothers who plagiarized them!! I am very offended indeed.

I would like some info on Fort Worth Center. I've been at ZKC for almost 7 years and am looking to move on. Would appreciate any info on the center and also the surrounding area. I have an 8 yr old son so any info on where you would have to live from work to be in a decent school area.....Thanks TK

My brother-in-law lives right down the road from ZFW. It's a pretty nice area, especially considering that it's right by the airport. There are actually a lot of good areas nearby ZFW; it's pretty much right between Ft. Worth and Dallas. Good school districts in Grapevine, Flower Mound and Lewisville, from what I know. I'd personally think about living in Frisco if I were to move in the area, although that's a bit more of a drive and is probably because it's where the local MLS team plays.

I found it interesting on the NATCA ZFW site, that the poll results on the right of the front page, "How is your Morale at ZFW?" The results indicate a very low percentage of satisfied employees. That's not a good sign.
