HLN or RVS

Posted: 01-22-2010, 10:05 PM I do not work their but my former ATC Meteorology instructor Terry does but he's moved out of the tower now. RVS has had the third most traffic in the US at one point but it's mostly VFR traffic. I'm unfamiliar with Helena but Riverside uses primary radar if this helps in your decision. The tower is also only open during day hours and it is upstairs only.
It's a nice little airport and you'll usually have something to do. Was in the Tulsa tower the other day and RVS actually had more traffic than TUL haha. Blue skies, Corey Fuel Your Edge - Extreme Classifieds! |
