The disabled who will never be able to work and the elderly who were unable to make it through life with a large amount of savings need to stay at work, get a job, or die Nobody should recieve government assistance It's preposterous to even think of Obviously, I'm being sarcastic. The principle of welfare isn't the problem, it's the regulative measures that aren't in place to ensure the system isn't taken advantage of. How many people do you know on welfare 
Are you just looking at the sterotype There are plenty of people who are forced to use social aid as a means to get by when they're blindsided or faced with a difficult stretch. It's a bad apples situation. You only hear about the rule breakers and those who take advantage of the system, the people who use it properly somehow slip under your radar.

I know six people who are on welfare right now. Out of those six people 1 deserves the money they receive because they are actually working and seeking higher employment because they do not like the condition of their life right now. The other five refuse to work or find work because they will job the system in their favor. Now that is going on exponentially all over the country. I'm not looking at the stereotype; it is what it is. "The Swedish Model": Welfare for Everyone is not working anymore here in America.
