I should have added this. If you did apply with an offer that included PCS money, It is generally a flat rate (something like $27K). All FAA job offers clearly state if PCS is included or not. PCS money is very limited to mostly Supe moves lately, no new hires are being offered any at this time.

They will pay you the cheaper of either a plane ticket or the mileage rate from your address of record to OKC. You will be given the proper forms to fill out on your first day and they will reimburse you in due time.

This has nothing to do with PCS money as this is a temporary assignment, not a permanent move. Thats why they pay only the travel costs not moving costs. And they pay nothing for you to get to/move to your permanent facility.

Official travel orders are given with the final packet prior to going to OKC.
