Thanks for all your help. You definitely made it easier to make up my mind. It is hard because I live in the NW right now. One more question: If I later decide to go somewhere else, will I stay at the same pay
Say I want to go to a ARTCC or a low level tower. I would like to be able to keep getting paid the same.

One other thing I will add is if you haven't visited Phoenix before make sure you do so prior to accepting a job there. Unfortunately it sounds like you won't have the time to do so. Some people really enjoy the many months of 100+ degree heat, almost no weather other than the occasional sand storm, no trees, no grass, everything brown, etc, etc.
In my opinion it is an excellent place to visit and the desert golf is wonderful. However, not really the place I would want to live for the next foreseeable future.
To answer your pay question...yes, you would keep your pay if you only went down a few levels. As long as your pay falls within the lower facilities pay band you will be fine. Under the current pay, if you were CPC at a level 12 and wanted to downgrade and save pay the lowest facility you could go is a level 9.
