i was stationed at edwards for 8 years so i know the area fairly well. definitely live west of the tracks. palmdale/lancaster is a huge drug area. meth labs galore when u get in the boonies east of the train tracks. there's a pretty cool bar on 110th east and avenue I, it's called Wing and a Prayer. Another cool bar on Palmdale blvd and like 30th east called Louisiana Hots. the only "pro" about living in the antelope valley as compared to the LA basin is that it's a lot cheaper.
