I thought it was a federal work regulation. I never thought i would have a "federal job" that is cheaper and more micromanaged than all the corporations ive worked for combined. My instructor says this Thursday we have to come to some big briefing... somehting like the FAA State of the union I forgot the official name.... what are some questionsi should stand up and ask I dont mind making myself a target I would love to ask a zinger in front of everyone and make someone awkward or uncomfortable.

Here's one, ask them to implement their "15%" pay proposal even if the Union declines it, that some of us with families won't have to start working a second job when we leave the per diem cozy environment for the harsh field.
I know I'm gonna catch flak for that but I don't care. If the FAA doesn't want to deal with the union and they "care" about us then they would just implement any and all raises even if they're pseudo and partial remedies until they feel generous enough to remember their own words, "it's not about the money"
