Is medical 100% covered or just a really good plan Im working contract right now and the medical is killing me, 
... even with the fringe benefits I receive. Wondering how far off the take home is between a CPC and a contract tower job with medical taken into account. Considering taking the jump soon but have a family so im hesitant. Thanks in advance guys.

It's not like the military, instead more like the civilian world. The gov't (like a company) pays a portion of the premiums and you pay the rest.
As an example..I have Blue Shield of CA and pay $125.00/pay period for my self and my family.
