Wondering how far off the take home is between a CPC and a contract tower job with medical taken into account. Considering taking the jump soon but have a family so im hesitant. Thanks in advance guys.

The benefits are the main reason government jobs are highly sought after. As far as medical is concerned, you can go to the OPM website as the previous responder noted.
For general information, the government pays 75% of the premium and you would pay 25%. The new dental plan is fairly inexpensive, too. They are worth every penny.
